Day 473: The New York Four - Let The Shredding Begin!
G'day Shredders,
Welcome to a very special edition of Shredder Sunday.
Check it out below!
Game ON!
How cool is this!
Four Certified Shredders (a.k.a. The New York Four), Suzette, Joni, Debbie and Lilla have upped the stakes in real-time accountability in a massive way.
Together we have embarked on a 30-Day full-blooded physique transformation journey which will culminate in the Inaugural East Coast Shredder Summit, (a.k.a ECSS 2008) on March 24, 2008.
Locked And Loaded
This is not a rehearsal.
This is the Real Deal.
Right Here, Right Now.
We have committed to ourselves, as a group and now publicly.
You are about to witness first-hand just how much progress it is possible to make over 30 shred-filled days as the New York Four (and I) shred massive every single day from here on out until ECSS Judgment Day Group Shred Training Session.
Airfares are booked, hotels are paid for and promises have been made. Quite simply, there is no turning back now, we are all locked and loaded...
Turning Up The Heat!
Can you see how much "positive pressure" the NY4 have created for themselves to follow through on the single daily actions that produce results? This pressure manifests itself everyday in an unconscious force that moves you into action.
By stating your goals publicly as a group (and in real-time) ultimately means that the "pain" of not following through (thereby embarrassing yourself!) becomes far greater than the "pain" of practicing nutrition and training discipline.
This Will Be Life-Changing!
To Suzette, Joni, Debbie and Lilla, I really tip my hat to you for taking massive action on your physique transformation goals and I sincerely believe that ECSS 2008, and this 30 day period will be a life-changing event for all of us (I'm feeling the pressure too!).
And most of all, I am really looking forward to meeting you in person and shredding hard with you in NYC!
Respect,
Adam Waters
P.S. Let the shredding begin!

Day 472: A Big Day In!
G'day Shredders,
Wow! Today was an action-packed day, even though I didn't leave the resort!
Day 1: Advanced Workshop
A Double Shred combined with a day long seminar at the Strategic Profits Live Conference at the Disney World Contemporary Resort.
I learned a lot from today's "Advanced Workshop" with Jeff Walker and Mike Filsaime (thanks for your personal advice Mike), and I also received a ton of great advice from fellow attendees.
This is the first time I've ever attended one of these events and it was a real spin-out to see the business-building legends up close and personal! I also quickly realized how much there is I still have to learn (and implement!)
Mental Gymnastics!
I also got in 2 training sessions today with a Hybrid Cardio/Abs workout in the morning and Lactic Acid Lower Body in the evening. The toughest thing so far is doing the calculations between kilometres to miles, and kilograms to pounds! I need a portable conversion calculator!
This picture below is a wide shot from my balcony this morning (straight after my cardio session). Coming from Japan's current 0 Degree weather this is a great feeling to be outside in shorts again!
Since I arrived in Orlando 3 nights ago I have been 100% compliant to my training and nutrition plan. I feel very confident that I'll make visible changes to my physique (a sixer!?) by the time I leave Orlando in 9 days time.
Until tomorrow...
Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!

P.S. I will resume my accountability/compliance log tomorrow. I just have to figure out a new format since I don't have the same software installed on my laptop.
P.S.S. For my fellow Shredders, I'll be be back in full force tomorrow in the ShredderSphere! with a very special ECSS 2008 episode of Shredder Sunday featuring the New York Four! You won't want to miss this...

Day 471: Disney Double Shred!
G'day Shredders,
I'll be super quick right now as I am completely hammered, I think the jet-lag has finally caught up with me. The good thing for me today was the hotel gym which was nicely fitted out with cardio and weight training gear.
I got in a Muscle Rounds Upper Body Workout in the morning and 40 minutes of Hybrid cardio in the evening. Check out the gym below!

Day 470: Disney World Touchdown! (Picture Update)
G'day Shredders,
Yippee! After the longest day of my life (literally 38 hours long!) I have arrived in Orlando, Florida!
I left Osaka at 7:00 PM and on Feb 21st and landed in San Francisco at 11:00 AM on Feb 21st! I had a comfortable flight on United as they bumped me up to Economy Plus (more legroom and 3 whole seats!) at no extra chrge!
Once in SF I was in transit for 3 hours waiting for my connecting flight to Orlando at 2:00 PM. The plane touched down at 10:00 PM and I then got the Disney Magical Express bus service direct to Disney Contemporary Resort.
I'll be staying here for the duration of my trip (12 nights) as I attend the Strategic Profits Live Conference which kicks off on Feb 23. I also have 3 extra days after the conference and I plan to make the most of it!
It is still dark here so I can't see much but the view from my balcony sounds great! There is an oasis down there!
Well, I gotta I get a little sleep now, but I will be back later to update this post with pictures.
Until then...
Eat Clean,
Shred Hard,
Think BIG!

P.S. I stuck very solid to my nutrition plan today, even though my body clock was wildly out of whack. I had also designated this day as a re-feed day to account for airplane food and time zones. All in all, a good day as I didn't not succumb to any fast food or snacks, and got in my quota of protein and salad.

Day 469: Hamstrung 2.0
G'day Shredders,
* Today was Day 10 of the Blogger Lock-Out on RTP-Blog.com
Day 58 of 84
Nutrition: My meal plan was spot on today.
Cardio: I ran only 4 km's today (instead of my new target of 8 km's) because my hamstring was playing up again. It is becoming a constant source of pain as I hit my second kilometre. I am still doing the reiki healing and massage daily, I just have to trust that it will heal soon.
Status:
*Important:
Feel free to use this plan as a template that you can follow. However, this plan is is based on my own personal experience over 3 physique transformation missions. In other words, what works for me may not work for you in the same way.
Success in this game requires research, individual design, real-world testing, monitoring results and making adjustments when necessary. This is your responsibility, no one else can do it for you. However, if you'd like to research further the exact programs I have used (over my first 3 Missions) and will use for M4 Shred you can do so at the links below.
M4 Shred Components: Click each link to learn more.
1) Fat Burning: 16 Principles of BFFM: nutrition, mindset and cardio.
2) Weight Training: Metabolic Surge: 36 Day Rapid Fat Loss System.
3) Six-Pack Training: Flatten Your Abs: 7-Level Training System.

Day 467: HIIT & Lactic Acid Training
G'day Shredders,
* Today was Day 8 of the Blogger Lock-Out on RTP-Blog.com
I decided to take two rest days on Day 465 and Day 466 due to 2 niggling injuries in my hamstring and calf muscle on my left leg. I have been receiving daily massage and reiki healing to try and get them better.
Day 56 of 84
Nutrition: My meal plan was spot on today.
Cardio: I completed my regular schedule of 6, 125, 14.5, 16.5 km/h at 4 cycles of 1 minute each, once again I was under some pain from my hamstring but I got the job done.
Training: I got in my Lactic Acid Training Lower Body workout and used Deadlifts rather than Leg Curls to minimize the strain on my hammie.

Day 465 Video: Lock-Down 2.0, Injuries, Broken Chair, Disney World And ECSS 2008 Preview!
G'day Shredders,
What a week! I'm on Day 6 of Blogger Lock-Down, I have 2 niggling injuries & I broke my chair... while planning my Orlando Shred Mission that kicks off in 5 days!
P.S. This vid also contains a sneak preview of ECSS 2008...
RTP Time Machine Video Series: Day 100!
3 years of pain, shame, sacrifice AND joy compressed into 3 minutes. As hard as it is to put my July 2003 picture on display I'm uploading this because I feel it may benefit some people who are on a fat loss journey to see that it is possible to turn your life around.
P.S Yes, the pink pants were a mistake! They have since been banished from my wardrobe forever! I was going through a "weird phase" of my life at this time...
Cheers,
Adam Waters

However, if you'd like to research further the exact programs I have used (over my first 3 Missions) and will use for M4 Shred you can do so at the links below.
M4 Shred Components: Click each link to learn more.
1) Fat Burning: 16 Principles of BFFM: nutrition, mindset and cardio.
2) Weight Training: Metabolic Surge: 36 Day Rapid Fat Loss System.
3) Six-Pack Training: Flatten Your Abs: 7-Level Training System.
